Laneway Suites

A laneway suite is a small house at the rear of a lot near the lane that serves to provide living accommodations at affordable market rates in Toronto and East York District.  Laneway houses have been successful in Vancouver and was launched in August 2018 for Toronto.

Wondering if your property qualifies to build a laneway suite? 
Firstly, you

• must own a property within Toronto and East York District
• must conform with applicable zoning and other by-laws as determined by Toronto Building through a zoning certificate or building permit
